Using the Yakima Hold Up Bike Rack is a breeze. First, make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface. Open the rack and adjust the space between the bike holders side-to-side according to your bike sizes. Place your bike on the rack, and use the StrongArm design to secure it at the wheels. The rack can hold different types of bikes, like those with disc brakes, through axles, and full suspension. You can load your bike quickly, no matter if it has 20' or 29' wheels. If you want to access the rear of your vehicle, just tilt the rack down with the bikes still on it. Remember, the max. tyre width for wheels under 29' diameter is 3', and for 29' wheels it's 2.4'. For larger 29” tyre width, you'll need the HoldUp EVO. To keep your rack in good condition, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water. Check the locks and connections periodically to make sure they're tight. Also, when not in use, store the rack in a dry place. With the optional HoldUp +2, you can increase the bike capacity to four. Enjoy your road trips with your bikes safely secured on the Yakima Hold Up Bike Rack!
