The first aero jersey project was named Split Second. In 2006, when Castelli designed the first aero jersey for road racing, people thought we were mad. Back then, aerodynamics was only for time - trials, and performance clothing focused on moisture management. You could even win the Tour de France in a baggy polyester T - shirt - like jersey. Our aerodynamic consultants expected small gains, so we named it Split Second, as we believed every little advantage counted. In the end, the gains were significant, and we transformed the look of the pro peloton. Now, we're on the sixth major update of our aero jersey. Each new generation is more aerodynamic and better - fitting. The Aero Race 6.0 uses CFD analysis of wake flow in the riding position to place fabrics and seams. It also incorporates feedback from Team Ineos riders, ensuring comfort during long - hour training and racing in all weather. Version 6.0 is our most aerodynamic and comfortable Aero Race Jersey to date, and we're already working on 6.1.

How to use: Simply put on the jersey like any regular shirt before your cycling session. It's designed to fit snugly, so pull it over your head and adjust it to make sure it lies flat on your body. The jersey is suitable for all types of road cycling, whether you're training or racing. Note: This jersey is form - fitting, so choose the right size according to the size chart. Avoid over - stretching it when putting it on or taking it off. Maintenance: Wash the jersey in cold water with a mild detergent. Don't use bleach or fabric softeners as they can damage the fabric. Hang it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer to keep its shape and performance.
