Product Detail

The Kink Roaster is the perfect first BMX bike for kids. With 12” wheels and a suitable frame size, it's an easy switch from a balance bike, ensuring kids feel super comfortable on their first pedalling adventure. This isn't just any 12” wheel bike; it applies standard BMX geometry to fit younger kids' needs. The Gloss Digital Green color is eye - catching, and the bike comes with great components. It has 5” Kink T500 bars and 12” Kink Lance forks. Instead of a lever - based brake system, which can be tough for young kids, it has a coaster brake. The seatstay bridge can also accept a calliper brake or 990 brake plate for those who want to add a lever - style brake. It's designed for kids aged 4 and up, and the seat height can be adjusted from 15.5' to 18.5'.

Using the Kink Roaster is a breeze. Just help your child get on the bike, adjust the seat to a comfortable height between 15.5' and 18.5', and they're ready to start pedalling. The coaster brake is simple to use - just pedal backward to stop. If you choose to add a lever - style brake, make sure it's properly installed. When your child is riding, always ensure they wear a helmet for safety. As for maintenance, regularly check the tire pressure to keep the ride smooth. Also, look at the brakes to make sure they're working well. If you notice any loose parts, tighten them up. Store the bike in a dry place to prevent rusting.
