Product Detail

The Marin DSX 1 is a flat bar gravel bike. It's built on Marin’s efficient Gestalt X drop - bar platform. With a lower stand - over height and a flat handlebar for a heads - up riding position, it offers extra comfort. This bike combines mountain and road bike features into a super - versatile package. It's ideal for long - distance multi - surface rides, daily commuting, and gravel events. The frame is made of Series 3 6061 aluminum and paired with a carbon fork and tapered steerer. Internal cable routing gives it a clean and stylish look. There are also ports for a dropper post and eyelets for racks and mudguards. The latest flat - mount hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stops in all conditions with little maintenance. The 1x11 drivetrain is a modern setup with fewer parts to take care of. It rolls on 700x45mm WTB Riddler gravel tyres (29 x 1.75), and there's room for 29x2.1” knobby tyres for more off - road adventures.

Using the Marin DSX 1 Hybrid Bike is easy. Just hop on and start pedaling. It's great for long rides on different surfaces, like gravel roads or city streets. For daily commuting, you can attach racks and mudguards using the eyelets provided. When going on more adventurous off - road trips, consider swapping to the 29x2.1” knobby tyres. Regarding maintenance, the flat - mount hydraulic disc brakes don't need much work, but it's a good idea to check the brake pads regularly. Also, keep an eye on the 1x11 drivetrain; make sure the chain is lubricated. And don't forget to check the air pressure in your tyres before each ride. If you plan to add a dropper post, use the portlets on the bike. Always ride safely and enjoy your journey on this versatile bike.
