Product Detail

The San Rafael and San Anselmo hybrid bikes are perfect for those eager to explore diverse terrains, from local rail - trails to dirt paths. These dual - sport bikes bridge the gap between pavement and dirt, ideal for fitness enthusiasts and recreational riders. The DS1 model has a Series 2 6061 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame, hydraulic disc brakes, a 2x8 Shimano drivetrain, rear rack and fender mounts, a 63mm travel suspension fork, and 700C fast - rolling wheels. The San Anselmo is designed with Women’s Fit Geometry, featuring women’s specific saddles, narrower bars, and short - reach brake levers. The San Rafael also comes in a standard frame option. Check out our Video tab to see these bikes in action.

Using your Marin San Anselmo DS2 Hybrid Bike is easy. Just hop on, adjust the seat to your comfort, and start pedaling. Whether you're on a paved path or dirt track, this bike can handle it. Before each ride, make sure to check the tire pressure; it should be around the recommended level for 700C wheels. Also, test the hydraulic disc brakes to ensure they're working properly. When riding on dirt, try to keep a steady speed to avoid skidding. For maintenance, clean the bike regularly, especially after riding in muddy conditions. Use a mild soap and water to clean the frame, wheels, and components. Lubricate the chain every few rides to keep it running smoothly. If you notice any issues with the Shimano drivetrain or other parts, it's best to take it to a professional bike mechanic for a check - up.
