The Magene L508 Radar Tail Light is a game - changer for cyclists. It offers precise visual and audible alerts through your compatible GPS bike computer, warning you of vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 metres away. With a beam angle of up to 40 degrees, it acts as a blind - spot monitor, detecting rear vehicles even around corners. Using millimeter - wave pulse signals, it comprehensively and stably detects high - speed motor vehicles and slow - moving bicycles. There are 5 light modes - Solid, Flashing, Pulse, Peloton, and Radar - only. You can switch between them with a single click. It has a 220 - degree wide viewing angle and is visible up to 1.2km. Peloton Mode has low brightness to protect fellow cyclists' eyes, and you can customize the interval of Flashing/Pulse Mode via the Magene Utility APP. You can also customize light - radar combinations, like Solid Mode + Radar ON for short night commutes or Radar Only Mode for daytime open - road rides. The smart braking feature quickly detects braking and enters a 3 - second highlight mode, ignoring minor shakes. When a rear vehicle gets within 140 metres, the taillight flashes for 2 seconds. It has an auto - sleep function after 5 minutes of inactivity (which needs to be manually activated in the app) and wakes up when moving. The radar has a max detection distance of 140 metres, horizontal detection angle of 40 degrees, and vertical of +/- 10 degrees, detecting relative speeds from 10 to 120 km/h. It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and ANT+ and charges with USB Type - C. It's compatible with many bike computers and smart watches from Wahoo, Garmin, Bryton, etc.

Using the Magene L508 Radar Tail Light is a breeze. First, connect it to your compatible GPS bike computer or smart watch via Bluetooth or ANT+. Once connected, you can start using the various features. To switch between the 5 light modes, just click once. For short night commutes on open roads, you might want to use Solid Mode + Radar ON. For longer rides at night, choose Flashing Mode + Radar ON to save battery. If you're in a group at night on a closed road, Peloton Mode + Radar OFF is a great option. During daytime open - road rides, Radar Only Mode is sufficient. When you brake, the light will automatically enter a 3 - second highlight mode. If a vehicle approaches from behind within 140 metres, the taillight will flash for 2 seconds to alert you. The auto - sleep function is turned off by default. To use it, go to the Magene Utility APP and activate it. After 5 minutes of being stationary, the light will go into sleep mode and wake up when you start moving again. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Use a soft cloth to wipe it. Charge it regularly using the USB Type - C port. And remember, always check the compatibility of your bike computer or smart watch before using it.
