Product Detail

The San Quentin is an ideal choice for aggressive hardtail trail riders seeking a perfect mix of singletrack adventures and extended airtime. Inspired by the Alcatraz, this bike combines all the advantages of dirt - jump style, featuring a large stand - over and sleek frame tubes. Its well - balanced rider position places your weight between the wheels, enabling excellent climbing on hills and smooth handling on flat terrains. The slack front end and short rear center offer an intuitive feel, helping you navigate rough descents and sharp corners with ease. The San Quentin 1 comes with a lightweight Series 2 6061 aluminum frame, tapered head tubes, 3D forged dropouts, IS brake mounts, and semi - internal cable routing. It is equipped with a MicroShift Advent 1x9 speed drivetrain, Tektro M275 Hydraulic Disc brakes, and a 120mm travel SR Suntour XCM32 fork with Boost spacing. It rolls on 27.5” wheels, which have tubeless - ready rims and versatile Vee Flow Snap tires.

Using the San Quentin 1 is a breeze. To start, adjust the seat to your preferred height for a comfortable riding position. When climbing, use the MicroShift Advent 1x9 speed drivetrain to find the right gear. On descents and corners, rely on the Tektro M275 Hydraulic Disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Remember to wear proper safety gear like a helmet and knee pads. As for maintenance, regularly check the tire pressure of the 27.5” wheels. Clean the bike after each ride, especially the chain and gears. Lubricate the chain every few rides to keep it running smoothly. Also, check the brake pads for wear and replace them if needed. With proper care, your San Quentin 1 will provide a great riding experience for a long time.
