The Montaro™ Mips® II is an upgraded classic and one of our all - time top - selling trail helmets. It now comes with the Roc Loc® 5 Air Mips System. This stylish design combines 2 - way fit and stability adjustment with the Mips brain protection system. It protects you from rotational forces without having extra plastic touching your skin. The helmet has a compact shape that provides deep coverage and an in - mold hardbody shell, offering great durability without adding too much weight. Besides top - notch brain protection, the Montaro II features Ionic+™ padding with long - lasting anti - microbial properties. There are 16 vents with internal channels to keep you cool and comfortable. It also has all the features you need for a great fit with goggles. There are strap grippers on the back of the helmet and our patented P.O.V. Plus™ visor. You can lift the visor and place your goggles on the front of the helmet after your ride. Using your Giro Montaro MIPS II mountain bike helmet is easy. First, choose the right size from the SUPER FIT™ options provided. Put the helmet on your head and use the Roc Loc® 5 Air Mips System to adjust it for a snug and stable fit. When you're riding with goggles, the strap grippers and the P.O.V. Plus™ visor will help you get a great fit. After your ride, you can lift the visor and place your goggles on the front of the helmet. For using a light or camera, just attach it to the breakaway interface. As for maintenance, keep the helmet clean. You can gently wipe it with a damp cloth. The Ionic+™ padding has anti - microbial properties, but it's still a good idea to air it out regularly. Make sure to store your helmet in a cool, dry place. And always check the helmet for any signs of damage before each use. If it's been in a crash, replace it right away to ensure your safety.
