Product Detail

The San Quentin is ideal for aggressive hardtail trail riders who want a mix of singletrack performance and extended airtime. It combines the strength and style of Marin's Alcatraz dirt jump frame with the trail - smart Nail Trail. This family of aggressive trail hardtails is a perfect match for modern trail riders. The San Quentin 3 features a Series 3 6061 aluminium frame with advanced tube forming, complex dropouts, post - mount disc tabs, full internal cable routing, and a 148mm boost thru - axle. ISCG 05 tabs are added to keep the chain in place on rough terrains. Its slack head tube angle and steep seat tube angle make it climb uphill with front - wheel precision and descend smoothly. Check our Video tab to see the San Quentin in action.

Using the Marin San Quentin 3 is a breeze. Just hop on, pedal, and you're ready to take on the trails. When riding, make sure to adjust your position according to the terrain. For uphill climbs, lean forward a bit to keep the front wheel stable. On descents, lean back to maintain balance. As for maintenance, regularly check the brakes to ensure they're working properly. Clean the chain after every muddy ride and lubricate it to keep it running smoothly. Also, check the tire pressure before each ride to get the best performance. When not in use, store the bike in a dry place to prevent rusting.
