The Castelli Gabba Ros 2 Women's Jacket is a revolutionary piece that kick-started a new product category. It's a water-resistant short-sleeve jacket, perfect for both dry and wet conditions. When paired with our Nano Flex arm warmers, it keeps your core warm without causing overheating.
In 2010, Castelli introduced the Gabba to professional cyclists, transforming how they race in the rain and cold, as well as how they dress for cool-weather training. This jacket is also a great choice for non-pro cyclists, as it keeps you warm and dry without being too hot. The latest fifth-generation Gabba is essentially waterproof, while still maintaining excellent breathability and wind protection.
It uses two exclusive Castelli GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics. The front, shoulders, and sleeves are covered with a warmer and 100% waterproof fabric, while the back features a lighter, more breathable, and stretchier fabric that provides sufficient water protection. The '2' in the name indicates the updates to this version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with top and bottom openings for adjustable ventilation. The back reflectivity is more visible, the shoulder seam has been moved to the back, and the three pockets can hold more gear.
Typically, layer the Gabba over a sleeveless base layer and short-sleeve jersey. Pair it with Nano Flex arm warmers in cooler and wet conditions, or Seamless warmers in milder weather. It's a must-have for autumn and spring cycling.

Using this jacket is easy. First, layer it over a sleeveless base layer and a short - sleeve jersey. If it's cooler or wet outside, put on the Nano Flex arm warmers. For mild conditions, the Seamless warmers are a good choice. Adjust the ventilation by using the YKK® Vislon® zipper with top and bottom openings according to your comfort.
When it comes to care, follow the washing instructions on the label. Usually, it's best to use a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners as they may damage the special fabrics. After washing, let it air - dry. Don't tumble dry. Also, store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. This way, your jacket will stay in great shape for many rides to come.
